Vanessa is anything but ordinary. This was evident in a recent visit back to the church she grew up in, in Albany, New York. When a former Sunday school teacher asked “ when are you getting married, if you wait too long I’ll be in a wheel chair.” Well in typical fashion she responded, “well, roll on.” Dead silence then the sounds of laughter filled the vestibule.

It only seems fitting that Vanessa’s love of acting started in that blessed church at the age of three. Her first Sunday school Easter pageant appearance she recited “Jesus wept, John 11:35” and the congregation applauded wildly. Her passion for the love of performance was born and continues to grow daily.

It has been said, “She has a knack of bringing a sense of warmth and humor to her roles. Along with the innate ability to turn a phrase and land it with laser like accuracy.” With her belief, “what is for you is for you and no one can take it from you.” She continues to hone her skills in pursuit of being ready when the calls’ come.

As her mom always says “It’s done. It just hasn’t been revealed yet.”
